Style Workshop

I received a call from a friend that the South Carolina Style Workshop was hosting a Launch Party. Little did I know that Diana Deaver (founder of SCSW) and the other talented co-hosts existed.  The event was on a Thursday night at the Imaging Arts Gallery on King Street. Hear me when I say, I do not do Thursday nights.  Among the many hats that I wear, the largest at times seems to be mom.  My days are filled with car rider lines, recipes for dinner, ortho appointments and homework.  As I sat in rush hour traffic getting the scoop on this posh downtown event, I must admit I was intrigued.  Honestly, she had me at "style."

Needless to say, the Facebook invite was an accurate account of the night.  All the presenters that were there were charming and engaging.  The venue was perfect.  I loved the open flow of the gallery, clad with fabulous art hung on brick walls.  The room was stocked with people who shared a passion for beauty, art, photography, style and skin care.  They created such a buzz for the actual workshop that will be held on January 29, 2011, at the American Theater.

Trust me ladies, I will be there.  I am extremely impressed with what I have seen so far.  Let me know what you think.  Also, check out the article in the Charleston City Paper.  Thanks Zac!
